WASHINGTON, DC, SEPTEMBER 30, 2013 – The Association of Global Automakers (Global Automakers) welcomes Hannah Izon as its new Federal Affairs Manager.  She will support the Association’s federal lobbying efforts and analysis of legislative activities impacting the auto industry.

Prior to joining Global Automakers, Izon spent several years working on Capitol Hill.  Most recently she served as legislative director for Representative Albio Sires (D-NJ) where she handled foreign affairs, trade, and immigration issues.

“Hannah Izon brings valuable Capitol Hill experience and a strong understanding of the legislative process,” said Paul Ryan, Global Automakers’ director of government affairs.  “She will be a great asset to our team as we navigate through the evolving automotive policy environment in Washington.”

Izon is a graduate of Boston College with a degree in international studies.  She also holds a M.A. in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service.

The Association of Global Automakers represents international motor vehicle manufacturers, original equipment suppliers, and other automotive-related trade associations.
