WASHINGTON, DC, APRIL 3, 2012 –With the spring's warmer temperatures already being felt around much of the nation, the Association of Global Automakers joins the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in reminding drivers about the dangers of kids being left in hot cars.

15% Ethanol Fuel Raises Consumer Concerns; New Study Demonstrates Vehicle Failures in Popular Models

Washington, DC -- Consumers could be paying more to repair their cars due to the adverse effects of fuel containing 15 percent ethanol (E15), according to new results from a two-year study on engine durability.  The study was conducted by FEV, a longtime consultant to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, on behalf of the Coordinating Research Council (CRC).

Global Automakers Reminds Drivers to be Responsible Over Memorial Day Weekend

WASHINGTON, DC, MAY 25, 2012 – As people across the country gear up for Memorial Day weekend, the Association of Global Automakers joins the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) in reminding drivers to buckle up. NHTSA has launched its annual “Click it or Ticket” program where roughly 10,000 law enforcement officers will be on the roads writing tickets to unbelted drivers in an effort to help save lives.
