WASHINGTON, DC, JULY 5, 2011 – The Association of Global Automakers (Global Automakers) welcomes Kristin Meadors as Federal Affairs Analyst. Kristin will assist Global Automakers Federal Affairs team with its lobbying efforts and analysis of legislative activities affecting the Association’s member companies.
“We are excited to have Kristin join our federal affairs team,” said Global Automakers Director of Government Affairs Paul Ryan. “Her knowledge, energy and enthusiasm will help Global Automakers expand our involvement with legislators on a wide range of issues impacting the auto industry.”
Prior to joining Global Automakers, Kristin was a legislative agent for the Kentucky Distillers’ Association where she was involved in numerous lobbying initiatives on alcohol related issues before the Kentucky legislature. Kristin also worked in legislative affairs, sales, and external relations at the Kentucky Commerce Cabinet. She is a graduate of Centre College with a degree in financial economics.
