WASHINGTON, DC, FEBRUARY 28, 2012 – Global Automakers' members captured eight of Consumer Reports’ Top Picks for 2012. The vehicles were selected as the best all-around models in their categories based on stringent road test, reliability, and safety requirements.
For the first time, Subaru earned the top score in Consumer Reports automaker report cards for 2012. Additionally, Toyota claimed five spots in this year’s top picks; the first occurrence in nearly a decade one brand has dominated the report.
