Members' Models Lead Consumer Reports’ Top Picks

WASHINGTON, DC, March 1, 2011 – Global Automakers' members captured eight of Consumer Reports’ Top Picks for 2011. The vehicles were selected as the best all-around models in their categories based on stringent road test, reliability, and safety requirements.

Consumer Reports' Top Picks:
Budget Car - Honda Fit
Small Car - Hyundai Elantra
Family Sedan - Nissan Altima
Small SUV -Toyota RAV4
Green Car - Toyota Prius
Family SUV - Kia Sorento
Family Hauler - Toyota Sienna
Sports Sedan - Infiniti G37

Findings from Consumer Reports’ Annual Auto Issue were announced in Washington, DC on Monday at a Washington Automotive Press Association (WAPA) press conference.
